In order to re-contextualise disability to be viewed as diversity rather than as a disability or different ability, it becomes important to understand why it is looked as disability. Hence let us on the international disability day pledge towards dissemination of information and knowledge in order to facilitate the public as well as the professionals to gain better insight into the strengths and limitations of PwD. Often with very little change in mindsets and modifications in the physical& psychososocial environments it is possible to being the strengths of the differently abled into the pool of abilities of society. Thus creating the evolution of a better & more effective society based on the strengths & not limitations of individuals. Hence leading to the mantra of a world of acceptance and not tolerance. Thee-journal of WWW.WETHEPEOPLEINDIA.COM ‘‘International E- Journal of Disability Studies, Special Education and Rehabilitation ’endeavours to promote research based as well as thematic based publications with peer view and issn no. The WORLD view and philosophical background how we in South Asia view related to disability and related issues as well as how they influence the lives of the differently abled and other stakeholders does not have documentations. The journal invites all academics, research scholars and practionaires  working in areas related to disability for their articles for publication .

The international disability day is a day  that  we would like to view  to taking stock of  our  achievements  in the area of disability studies and practices over the year and also systematically plan  the path  to be taken  for the coming year . It is intended that wethepeopleindia believe in taking along everyone towards creating an inclusive society where every is special and where every person’s ability are considered important rather than that persons limitation. We visualize a society where the person’s strengths are strengthened and limitations are de-limited.
We at www.wethepeopleindia.com have been taking baby steps towards connecting all persons and institutions associated with disability. We look forward that in the coming year we will be able to get the proceedings of activities being conducted across country known even to those who were unable to participate in them virtually.
